About:

Dial Direct LoginDial Direct was formed in 1995 and they have been under the control of the BGL Group since 2001. They were acquired alongside Bennetts in the deal. BGL operates under BISL Ltd through other own brands notably Budget Insurance and Compare the Market. They also manage the policies of such major banks as Halifax, Lloyds Bank and Santander. Other key partners who they manage for include Legal and General, M&S and the Post Office. BISL doesn’t share their underwriting panel, but they have been known to use the likes of Allianz and Covea. Similar to many brokers, much of the business to their site is generated through external price comparison searches.

Competitors:

In testing we have seen quotes from this company popping up in the top 10 listings. This is impressive when you consider that they cram their motor policies with a range of features. So much so in fact that both of their plans have earned 5 Star Defaqto Ratings. What benefits this broker is of course that they have multiple opportunities to gain business, if not through this featured brand, then through another where they are in charge of administration. Regardless, they still have plenty of competition. AXA would perhaps be seen as their main rival since they are known to take top ranking positions in searches and they too hold a 5 Star Defaqto Rating.

Login:

On reaching www.dialdirect.co.uk you’ll quickly spot the Dial Direct login that is served on a subdomain (on a long URL). Once logged in you can view and print your documents, you can change your payment details or any other parts of your policy. Not many brokers allow you to do this, but few of them have the budget and expertise of the BGL Group. Another service feature is seen in customer support that is available 7/7. The times taken from their site during weekdays were 8am to 9pm, Saturday was 9am to 5pm and Sunday was 10am to 4pm. There are as noted 2 policies available. The more expensive choice is Premier that generally differs through legal protection.
